Roughcut Television is one of Britain's biggest producers of scripted comedy and one of the fastest growing independent production companies in the UK.
 
Established in 2007 by Ash Atalla and Tim Sealey, Roughcut produce outstanding comedy for all of the UK’s major broadcasters as well as internationally. In 2019, Roughcut expanded into drama and we are now developing a drama slate for all the major broadcasters and SVOD’s. Our work includes triple BAFTA winning STATH LETS FLATS, BAFTA winning cult series PEOPLE JUST DO NOTHING and BAFTA nominated BIG BOYS.
 
Ash Atalla is best known as the Producer of the multi-award-winning series THE OFFICE and THE IT CROWD. Roughcut builds on this tradition to produce comedy shows which are both highly regarded and audience favourites. Working with the industry’s most exciting writing, performing and directing talent, Roughcut has achieved considerable success on both sides of the Atlantic.

Roughcut have also offset our Carbon Footprint through verified carbon reduction projects and planting 40 trees in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya, as of 29th September 2021.
